In the small city of Varese, situated in the center of Northern Italy, stands an eighteenth-century villa, accompanied by a magnificent Italian garden. Villa Panza, besides being a villa, it is also a museum house which is owned by the art collector Giuseppe Panza di Biumo and his wife Giovanna. So far, the number of pieces reached to 2500 works. An exhibition venue of international prominence, Villa Panza offers a rich aesthetic experience to both adults and children, who have access to a programme of activities specifically designed for them.  The area dedicated to the dwelling is suitated in an open - air area, adjacent to the Villa, while on the other hand, the atelier will be located in the interior space of the Villa itself.

Considering its richness of art and its particularity, it is a suitable and preferable project site for developing a dwelling and teller for an artist in residence at Villa Menafoglio - Litta - Panza, in Varese. It is imagined as a part of a hospitality programme for artists who woukd be invited to spend a short period, around one month, at Villa Panza, during which the artist would develope a project specifically designed for this place. Considering some regulations, the dwelling dimensions respected, are, the maximum area of 20 square meters, with a possibility of the structure to be easily manteled and dismantled if necessary, also dry assemblied. The atelier, is a temporary one, allowing it to be also an exhibiton, meeting or a relaxing space.
