Meda is a city in the province of Monza and Brianza, located in the northern Italian region of Lombardy, close to Milan and Como (just over 20 kilometers from Milan). It is known for the production of furniture and design industry. Palazzo Mascheroni, with its origins tracing back to the 16th century, is a living embodiment of the region's rich cultural heritage in the city of Meda. Unfortunately, due to lack of maintenance, its condition currently has been getting significanlty poor, reaching to abandonment. The building holds a rich potential for being reborn and becoming a landmark in the city and the area. Its facade, a masterpiece of intricate detailing and harmonious proportions, captures the essence of Renaissance aesthetics. The interplay of ornate columns, graceful arches, and finely carved reliefs showcases the skill and vision of the artisans who contributed to its creation.

The aim of the project is to revive Palazzo Mascheroni, by analysing its current condition, abandonment and damage. Reviving the building and integrating a new program and functions, would also mean to affect the activity and attractiveness on the urban scale, since the city holds a great potential due to the presence of several other landmarks.
